  1. Figure Out How The Back Connects To The Chair: First of all, get to know how the chair is held together it can be either Screw, Nails or Tight fit with glue and shims knowing this will make the repairing easy.
  2. Remove The Back From The Chair: While removing the back from the chair don't go with full strength apply enough pressure.
  3. Prepare The Chair For Reassembly: Firstly sand the connection points of spindles until they are smooth, try to sand inside the hole as well. Once the sanding on all the parts is finished, assemble the chair on trial basis for a dry fit. Dry fit helps to check whether all the lines are correct. If in any case, the spindles are extremely loose, then add shims as needed.
  4. Reassemble The Chair: Apply the best quality glue to the holes in the chair base, then insert the spindles or bow into the chair base. Wipe off any excess glue.
  5. Final Cleanup: Once the glue is set check the chair for soundness, in order to get the smoother finish, buff the area lightly with sandpaper.
