3 Easy Methods To Clean/Get Rid Of Wax From Glass Table
Glass table looks great when you use it at your home, office or for that matter any place but sometimes it can easily be damaged, stained or scratched, in case, if your glass table is affected by wax then you need to follow the given methods and steps in order to get rid of this problem:
Method 1: Melting The Wax
- Firstly, you need to start by heating up the wax. If your wax is hardened and difficult to remove after it dries then it can easily be dissolved again by applying heat on it. In its melted state, it will be much easier to remove.
- Now, remove the wax from your glass table by using a damp cloth or a soft sponge to wipe the wax off from your glass table.
- Then you need to Clean the glass before spraying the affected area with glass cleaner and then wipe it down by using a soft lint-free cloth.
Method 2: Using A Solvent
- First step in this method is to dissolve the wax before using a solvent like rubbing alcohol, drain cleaner, window cleaner bleach or white vinegar to dissolve the wax and separate it from the glass table surface and this will make wax easy to remove.
- Now, remove the wax from the glass table. Then Use a soft sponge or damp cloth in order to wipe the wax off from your glass table.
- After wiping now clean the table glass. Now, spray the affected area with glass cleaner and wipe it down with the help of a lint-free cloth.
Method 3: Scraping The Wax
- Use a window scraper because a wide, plastic window scraper is the best tool for this job. Work slowly and try to swoop the scraper below the wax rather than edged down into it.
- If you don’t have a scraper then you can also use a razor blade.
- Remove the wax by using a damp cloth or a soft sponge to wipe the wax off from the glass table.
- Clean the glass before spraying the area with glass cleaner and wipe it down with a soft lint-free cloth.
