  2. Remove The Excess Grout & Stain: Now, wipe & clean the grout stain area with the help of a damp sponge in order to get rid of the excess grout and the stain. Scrub away the grout with the help of a scrub brush before applying additional layers of the solution, if needed. Let the solution stay on the grout stain for a few minutes before wiping up the excess, with the help of a damp sponge.
  3. Grout-cleaning Solution: If you are not able to get rid of the grout stain using a water and vinegar solution, then another option is to use a grout-cleaning solution, which you will get from your local home improvement store. Read and go through the manufacturer’s instructions regarding application, soaking time as well as removal procedure.
  4. Mop The Entire Floor: Finally, clean or wipe the entire floor using a vinegar/water solution if in case there is a grout film covering the entire surface of the installation. Allow the solution to sit for several minutes before you clean it with clean water.
