The other simple way to remove the paint from the wood item is by using the heat gun. The heat gun usually works faster but it can only cover one part of the wood at one time. The users need to place the heat gun at a far distance from the surface of the wood item and then slowly scrape off the paint by using the putty knife. Then use the steel wool to remove the left behind paint stains on the wood item. Unless like the liquid strippers the heat guns left a shabby appearance on the wood items and that is why it is advised to the users to read manufacturers label before using any kind of the heat gun whether a traditional or a modern heat gun respectively.
