Ways To Get Rid Of Scuff Marks From Laminate Flooring

Here are some of the ways through which the customer can get rid of the scuff marks from the laminate flooring:
  1. Alcohol Or Nail Polish Remover: The customer can use the alcohol or nail polish remover with acetone to remove the scuff marks from the laminate flooring. Put a small amount of remover or alcohol on the clean rag and rub on the laminate floor surface to remove the scuff marks.
  2. Use A Pencil Eraser: An old pencil eraser can also be used to clean the scuff marks from the laminate floor surface.
  3. Use Melamine Foam Sponge: Another way is to use melamine sponge for removing the scuff marks from laminate flooring. The sponge is dampened and then rubbed on the floor to remove away the scuff mark. This sponge reaches into the cracks where the other local sponges and rags cannot reach.
  4. Water Displacement(WD-40): WD-40 can also be used on the floor surface for removing the scuff marks. WD-40 is applied on a rag in small quantity and then a wet rag is rubbed on the scuffed flooring surface and the rag is rubbed on the floor until the scuff mark removes away from the floor surface.
  5. Use Toothpaste: Toothpaste can also be used to remove scuff mark from laminate flooring. Firmly press the toothpaste and drop a small amount of toothpaste on the rag. Then wet the rag and rub the toothpaste on the scuff marks. When the scuff marks are removed away from the floor then clean the leftover toothpaste from the floor surface by using a fresh rag.
  6. Use Rubber-soled Shoe: Take a rubber soled shoe and securely move the rubber bottom on scuffed flooring surface in the backward and forward direction to remove the scuff marks from the laminate flooring.
