How To Remove Rejuvenate From Laminate Floors: Steps To Remove

Steps To Remove Rejuvenate From Laminate Floors

Rejuvenate is a product that is designed to restore the old floors and give them a new look. The biggest reason behind its removal is the film which is left behind once it is applied on to the floors and there is the number of ways to get rid of this cloudy film residue from the floor after the application of the Rejuvenate.

In Order To Remove Rejuvenate from Laminate Floors, The User Needs To Follow The Below-given Steps

  1. Divide The Floor Into Sections:
It is necessary for the user to divide the floor into sections for efficient work. The floor can either be divided mentally or by using masking tape.
  2. Apply IFT Solution:
The removal process starts by applying an IFT solution to one section of the floor by using a spray bottle. The user can also squirt a small amount of IFT solution on the floor and spread it with a soft cloth. It has been recommended by the experts to use an amount of solution that should be enough to wet the floor.
  3. Scrub With Abrasive Pad:
The next step will be to scrub the wet area by using an abrasive pad. The step will help in the removal of wax build-up.
  4. Wipe Down The Area:
After the entire section is scrubbed, the user needs to wipe it afterward by using a water-dampened cloth.
  5. Apply Squeaky Cleaner:
The last step in the process will be to apply a squeaky cleaner over the entire section by using a microfiber mop. Once the squeaky cleaner is applied, the user doesn't need to rinse it with water afterward. The user needs to mop/wipe the floor until it is completely dry.
  6. Repeat The Steps To Other Sections:
Once rejuvenate is removed from one section of the laminate floor, the user needs to repeat the above steps to the other sections of the floor as well. Also, the user may need to repeat the first two steps of the removal process several times on each section in order to completely remove rejuvenate from laminate floors.

Note:
It has been recommended by the experts to spot test the removal method at a hidden place on the laminate floor before proceeding to the entire floor.
