Wet Paint

If the drip is on the wet paint wooden surface just simply brush the drip in the same direction as did in painting. Avoid the knockdown of the paint as it will look ugly and will be hard to remove.

For Dried Paint Drip

For dried paint drip follow the steps mentioned below:
1.Sanding: In case the paint drip has dried just sand the portion using 220-grit sandpaper. The sanding must be done in the drip direction because of irrelevant sanding direction will result in the blemished surface.
2.Top Coat: After achieving the flattened drip go for topcoat application that will reduce the visibility of the top coat.
3.Putty: If the drip is visible in any area just apply the glazed putty to treat the same using a putty knife and allow it to dry and follow up by the resanding again. Once it is sanding apply primer over the surface and allow it to dry once dried apply the topcoat paint to make the repair area invisible.

Steps to remove dried paint drips from the floor and furniture are mentioned below:
1.Sand: The drip area is required to be sanded with the help of the 100- to 120-grit sandpaper.
2.Dusting: Remove the sanding dust using the brush and clean the surface.
3.Boiled Linseed Oil: Take the clean cloth and damp it into the linseed oil and rub the dried drip with the same. Keep the linseed oilcloth over the drip by a few minutes.
4.Putty Knife: Scrape the paint drip using a plastic putty knife gently without damaging the surface.
5.Wipe Off: Wipe the surface and dry it using the clean, and a soft cloth.
