Mineral Spirits Method

The Procedure to remove oil stains with mineral spirits is as follows:
  1. Wash The Stain With Mineral Spirits:
    First, the user needs to wash the oil stain with mineral spirits such as paint thinner. Mineral spirits help in dissolving the oil stain on both finished and unfinished wood surfaces. In order to wash oil stain with mineral spirits, the user needs to dampen a clean soft cloth with mineral spirits and then rub the cloth over the stain. The cloth has to be rubbed in the direction of the grain and the grease stain must be worked out.

Oxygenated Bleach Method

The procedure to remove oil stains with Oxygenated Bleach Method is as follows:
  1. Prepare Solution:
    The first step in the process will be to prepare a solution by mixing one scoop of oxygenated bleach powder with a cup of water.
  2. Apply Solution:
    The next step will be to apply the prepared solution on to the stain with a soft cloth.
  3. Scrub The Stain:

  4. Wipe The Solution:
    Then, the user needs to wipe off the solution from the wood with a dry soft cloth.
  5. Repeat The Procedure:
