Step By Step Process Of Removing Hair Dye From A Kitchen Cabinet

The occurrence of a hair dye on a kitchen cabinet can be one of the biggest problems that can quickly create a complex situation. Step 1: Magic Cleaning Eraser

Step 2: Mix Baking Soda & White Vineger

The next step is to mix 1 tbsp of baking soda with 1/2 tsp of white vinegar in order to make a paste out of this mixture. Make sure to apply the paste over the complete hair dye stain and then leave it as it is on the kitchen cabinet for nearly 15 minutes. After that, get rid of the paste from the cabinets with the help of a paper towel. Now, again apply the paste as required unless & until there are no traces of the dye remaining on a kitchen cabinet. Proceed to Step 3 if in case the hair dye is still noticeable.

Step 3: Scrub The Kitchen Cabinet

Now, it is time to start scrubbing the kitchen cabinets with the help of a cloth moistened in rubbing alcohol. Keep scrubbing with the help of rubbing alcohol as long as you have eliminated the hair dye entirely. Proceed to the final if in case there is still a persisting dye stain present on the kitchen cabinet.

Step 4: Nail Polish Remover

Finally, moisten the tip of the cloth in acetone-containing nail polish remover. Make sure to rub the hair dye in a circular motion for a couple of seconds. Because of the fact that the acetone can remove the finish from wood, you need to use it inexpensively and abstain from allowing it to sit on the wood. At last, remove the acetone from the cabinets using cool water.
