Steps To Remove/Get Rid Of The Bed From A Sleeper Sofa

- Pull: Firstly you need to pull out your sleeper bed and extend it completely.
- Flip Or Roll: Roll or flip the body of your sofa forward so that it can easily rest on the bed. When you've done this correctly, the inner back of your sofa is resting on your bed and the legs and the bottom of your sofa are facing outward and parallel to the floor. You can take the help of another person because you can't do this step alone.
- Remove: Now you will have to remove the dust cover from the bottom of your sleeper sofa. This will expose the bed frame which is attached to your sleeper sofa frame.
- Locate: Now, locate the bolts which are attached to your bed frame onto the sleeper sofa frame. There are at least two bolts on each side and possibly more. They can extend through your bed frame folding mechanism into the sleeper sofa frame.
- Attach: Now, it's time to attach a ratchet or wrench and a socket onto the bolt head and then you have to begin turning them out carefully. When all of your attachment bolts are removed successfully then the bed frame "wobbles" inside of your sleeper sofa when it is pushed forth and back.
- Pull: The final step is to pull your sleeper sofa back down so that the legs are resting on your floor completely and then lift up on your bed frame at the front of your sleeper sofa and slide it out & away from the sleeper sofa. Remove the mattress and then fold the frame back up in order to make it easy for carrying it.
