Removing Excess Paint

  1. Fresh Paint: In order to remove acrylic paint from a carpet, the user needs paint scraper, dull knife, or spoon. Scrape the affected area of the carpet with a paint scraper, dull knife or spoon and use a rag between the cleaning process.
  2. Dried Paint: Brush the area which is affected by the acrylic paint with a soft brush like a toothbrush, then use a dustpan or vacuum cleaner to collect the dried paint particles. Needle-nose pliers will remove big chunks of dried paint.
  3. Blot Any Wet Paint: In order to blot any wet paint on the carpet, the user needs an absorbent (cloth) or dry paper towel to blot any wet paint on the carpet Start blotting until the wet paint get removed from carpet.

Using Soapy Water And Vinegar

Blot the affected area with an absorbent cloth. The user can easily lift the solution from the carpet by the steam vacuum cleaner.
  3. Vinegar Solution: Take 10 parts of water with 1 part of vinegar and mix them, moisten sponge in water and vinegar solution then dab carpet with it. Now, dry the carpet with a dry towel.
