Step 4: Remove The Step Flashing From The Decking Of The Roof
Remove the step flashing from the decking of the roof. To remove the nails holding it, pull the flashing. Look for metal brackets around the curb holding the skylight. The screws keeping the brackets in place should be removed with a screwdriver or power drill.
Step 5: Pry And Lift The Unattached Skylight Out Of The Opening
Make cuts with your utility knife around the skylight's membranes. You may now pry and lift the unattached skylight out of the aperture.
