Steps to Refinish Particle Board Furniture
Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily refinish the Particle Board Furniture:
- Clean The Cabinets: The customers need to start by Cleaning all the cabinets by using the trisodium phosphate (TSP). The customers then need to pour a medium amount of the trisodium phosphate in a spray bottle and they need to shake well the spray bottle before using it. The customers then need to spray the TSP solution all over the surface of the furniture item. The customers then need to rub this solution by using a soft rag in order to clean the entire residue as well. The trisodium phosphate will clean all the dirt, grime and will also bring back the old shine of the veneer.
- Use The Sandpaper: The customers then need to use the sandpaper and rub it over the entire surface of the furniture product. The customers need to use the medium-grit sandpaper and they must rub the sandpaper in the round motion. The customers then need to use the damp cloth in order to clean all the sanding dust.
- Apply The Primer: The customers then need to use the primer and apply it all over the surface of the furniture product by using a soft paintbrush or a roller. The customers then need to allow the primer to dry completely and once the primer is dried the customers need to apply two more layers of the primer to the furniture item.
- Apply The Latex Paint: The customers then need to soak the soft foam roller in the interior latex paint and the customers need to roll the foam roller all over the surface of the veneer. The customers then need to let the paint dry before applying two more coats of the paint.
- Apply The Layer Of Polyurethane As Well: Once the latex paint is completely dried the customers then need to apply a layer of the polyurethane all over the painted surface on the furniture product by using the soft paintbrush.
