  1. Remove: First of all, remove the cabinet doors and drawers. Remove all the knobs, handles, etc and store them in a safe place. It is better to mark each door to their corresponding location.
  2. Clean: The next step is to clean the cabinet, even if they don't look dirty, it is better to clean the surface. Prepare a solution of the trisodium phosphate (TSP) with water. Apply the solution to both sides with the help of the sponge and then wipe off with a cloth.
  3. Repair: Before heading to the next step, it is better to look for any repairs like holes, dents or gouges. In case of any repairs use the wood filler to fill the holes or dents with the help of the putty knife, wipe the excess filler with the damp cloth.

  6. Paint: Once the primer is completely dried than apply the coat of the paint like semi-glossed latex paint, start painting to the inside then outside of the frame and finally the cabinet doors.
