- Remove: First of all, remove the cabinet doors and drawers. Remove all the knobs, handles, etc and store them in a safe place. It is better to mark each door to their corresponding location.
- Clean: The next step is to clean the cabinet, even if they don't look dirty, it is better to clean the surface. Prepare a solution of the trisodium phosphate (TSP) with water. Apply the solution to both sides with the help of the sponge and then wipe off with a cloth.

- Primer: Now apply the even coat of the primer, the primer will help paint to bond with the surface very well. The Primer reduces the need to sand and deglaze old finishes in case of repainting.
- Paint: Once the primer is completely dried than apply the coat of the paint like semi-glossed latex paint, start painting to the inside then outside of the frame and finally the cabinet doors.
