Items Required

  • Staple Gun And Short Staples
  • vinyl For The Top Or Laminated Fabric
  • Scissors, Phillips Head Or Flat-Head Screwdriver

Step By Step Instructions

  1. First of all, with the help of a Phillips head or flat-head screwdriver, you need to detach any screws holding the edge cut around the table in place. Make sure to detach the edge cut without warping it.
  2. Now, withdraw the old vinyl fabric covering. Clean the edges and surface of the table with the help of a solvent in order to get rid of any residue from rubber cement or other sealants. This builds a flat, clean surface for your new vinyl fabric covering.
  3. Next, determine the table width starting from the base edge on one side to the base edge of any trim on the opposite side, and then affix 4 inches. In the same way, determine the table length and affix 4 inches to it also. The additional 4 inches will become a 2-inch crossway on all sides when you straighten the vinyl fabric over the table.
  4. After that, trim your fabric according to the measured length as well as the width of the table. Rub a fine layer of rubber cement onto the table and edges. Then give it some time to dry unless & until it becomes sticky. Place your vinyl fabric piece in a way that it gets installed 2 inches below the base edge of the table on all 4 sides.
  5. Then push one bolt across the vinyl fabric & into the middle hole on the left side of the table. Straighten the fabric through the table & push the 2nd bolt across the vinyl & into the middle hole on the right side. Keep pushing one bolt at one time across the vinyl & using the bolts facing each other wrenching any wrinkles, or bubbles in the fabric as flat as you go.
  6. Push bolts across the vinyl at the middle front as well as the back of the table, wrenching it tight and getting rid of any wrinkles and bubbles as you go. Keep doing it from the middle front as well as the middle back to the right, and then to the left. After reaching the corner of the table, fold the vinyl corner in order to wrench it tight, then fasten it using one final bolt. If in case bolt hole at the corner are not there, then you have to take the help of a staple gun in order to seal the vinyl below the table.
