10 Easy Steps To Put Together/Assemble A King-Size Bed Frame

  5. Next look for the small holes and protruding nubs on the side arms & if there is any then simply connect the side arms together by pushing your nubs through with the holes. If the sidearms only have holes then you need to connect them together by using the nuts & screws or included metal plates.
  6. After that, you need to attach a center support beam if unavoidable. Some metal bed frames, exclusively those that connect your sidearms together by using a metal plate which comes with a center support leg. Just be sure that you connect any unavoidable feet or wheels to the leg & then lay it across the center of your bed frame. If the sidearms or legs have grooves in the center then you need to slide the ends of the center leg into them. Otherwise, you need to attach them by using nuts & screws.
  7. Then you need to place defensive caps on the edge of your bed frame if indispensable. If the bed frame leaves small, exposed pieces of the metal on all the corners then simply cover them with included defensive caps.
  8. If the bed frame did not come with caps but it has the exposed metal then cover it with multiple layers of the duct tape. Covering these spots will keep you from scraping the skin if you bump into your bed frame.
  9. Now you need to connect a baseboard or headboard if covet. Some of the metal bed frames come with the headboards or baseboards. If yours does then be sure that the board is fully outspread and, if indispensable, now you need to attach any included legs to it by using nuts & screws.
  10. For some metal bed frames, you can simply slide your board’s legs into slots on your main bed frame. For the other type of bed, you have to line your legs up with holes on your bed frame and attach them by using screws & nuts.
