- First of all, layout the fitted sheet on top of the mattress, & make sure that the sheet fabric is positioning in a way that the right side up. Raised seams need to be on the bottom side. It will not layout flat due to the reason that it is elastic.
- The next step is to find out the tag and/or care label on the sheet. Typically, this is attached to a corner seam. The fitted sheet end that is having the label moves towards the foot of the mattress.
- After that, hold the elastic edge of the left base corner of the fitted sheet and expand it over the left corner at the foot of the bed. Move the elastic edge smoothly under the mattress corner to secure.
- Now, take hold of the elastic edge of the right base corner of the fitted sheet and expand it over the right corner at the foot of the mattress. Move the elastic edge smoothly under the mattress corner.
- At the head of the bed/mattress, move the sheet gently toward the head of the bed, aligning the fabric if possible. Now, take hold of the elastic edge of the right top corner of the fitted sheet and move it gently over the right corner of the head of the mattress. Again, move the elastic edge tight smoothly and under the mattress corner.
- Finally, take hold of the rest of the elastic edge of the top of the left fitted sheet corner. Move the sheet taut and pull the elastic edge of the fitted sheet corner beneath the left corner at the head of the mattress/bed.
