How To Protect Wicker Furniture From Outdoor Use?

Wicker furniture is made of rattan, bamboo, paper, and palm that need protection from different types of elements. The wicker furniture is mostly associated with outdoor living and it requires proper maintenance to get the wicker furniture preserved. The wicker furniture can be preserved by the below-given ways:
  1. Vacuum The Furniture Monthly:
    In order to remove the dust that collects into the grooves of the wicker furniture, the user needs to vacuum the furniture monthly by placing a brush attachment at the end of a vacuum tube. Also, if the user prefers, he can dust the furniture using a soft-bristled hand broom.
  2. Rinse The Furniture Twice A Year:

    It has been recommended by the experts to allow the wicker furniture to dry for at least two days before using it again because using the wicker furniture prematurely may result in its breakage.
  6. Place The Wicker Furniture Out Of Direct Sunlight:
    The most effective way to preserve the wicker furniture is to place it away from direct sunlight where the furniture gets a shade cover. Also, the user can place cushions on to the wicker chairs for extra protection.
