Steps To Polish Hardwood Floors With Buffer

Buffer is used for polishing the surface of the floor. Buffer removes scratches from the hardwood floor and makes the surface of the hardwood floor shiny. To polish hardwood floors with buffer some steps need to be followed that are given below:
  1. Mop The Floor: Combine the cleaning compound of a hardwood floor with warm water. Clean the floor and leave it to dry.
  2. Assemble The Floor Buffer: Put the buffer flat on the surface of the floor and detach nuts from the middle of the floor buffer. Then fix sanding screen, tighten nuts and plug in the floor buffer.
  3. Use Of Floor Buffer: When the floor buffer is turned on it rides on the surface of the floor, it needs to be handled by both hands. Gentle pressure is applied on one handle of the floor buffer without pushing down towards the floor.
  4. Screening: Then screen the whole area of the floor along with edges and from time to time check the screen. Replace the screen if it gets filled up with glue.
  5. Wipe The Floor: Remove the residue produced by the screening and clean the floor with a wet cloth.
  6. Spread Polish: Mix the polishing compound with water and spread it on the floor surface.
  7. Smooth The Floor: Last step is to take away sanding screen from the floor buffer. Then attach a lamb's wool to the floor buffer and use it on the surface of the hardwood floor to make the hardwood floor smooth and shiny.
