Steps To Paint Wooden Chairs

There are a lot of ways to paint a wooden chair. The best paint used for the wooden chair is oil-based paint, latex paint, and semi-gloss paint. Here is some quickest and easiest way to paint the wooden chair, follow the given steps carefully to get the best results.

Prepping The Chair's Surface

  1. Wash: To start the painting process, liquid soap and water should be mixed very well in a bucket. Wash the chair with the help of a sponge. Now use a dry cloth to soak water from the chair.
  2. Sand: Small grit sandpaper should be used for sanding the whole chair but but make sure not to sand deeply.
  3. Clean: Now clean the dust with cloth or with a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner will easily remove the dust from chair.
  4. Wood Putty: If there is any hole remaining in the chair then use wood putty with the help of a putty knife to fill the remaining holes.
  5. Dry: Let the putty dry for 2-3 hours and again use the sandpaper to make the chair ready for painting.
