Step By Step Instructions

  1. First of all, select the paints to use on the glass that will totally depend on the look you want. For instance, transparent glass paints will make the light to ooze through them while acrylic paints will make it more opaque, paint look. Resin-based paints are the best examples of a transparent glass paint that will be available in white or glossy colors, which depends on the product line.
  2. The next step is to paint mixed patterns as well ad designs on scrap paper using pencil as long as you don't get a design of your liking. If needed, you can use scrap paper cut exactly to the size of your window pane and outline the complete design. Trim the design out of the paper in order to use it as a stencil, in spite of the fact that you can still choose to free-hand the project.
  3. Now, clean the window pane with the help of a rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth in order to get rid of the dust and other residue.
