How to Paint Or Stain over Varnished Wood Furniture without Sanding?

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily stain or paint over Varnished wood furniture without Sanding:
  1. Remove The Hardware: The customers need to start by detaching all the doors and the drawers from the cabinets by unbinding all the metal hardware like hinges, knobs, and the screws.
  2. Remove The Dust: The customers then need to clean all the dust, dirt, and debris particles from the surface of the cabinets and for that, they need to wipe down the cabinets by using the Tri-sodium Phosphate cleaner.
  3. Use Liquid Deglosser: The customers then need to pour some amount of the Liquid De-Glosser to the washcloth and then they need to rub the damp washcloth in circular movements all over the surface of the cabinets and doors. They then need to allow the cabinets to dry completely.
  4. Apply The Primer: The customers then need to use the oil build primer and apply it to the entire surface of the cabinets by using the paintbrush. The customers then need to allow the primer to dry completely before applying the paint to the cabinets.
  5. Apply the Paint: Once the primer coat is completely dried the customers need to apply a layer of the paint to the cabinets by using the foam roller. They need to let the paint dry completely before applying two more coats of the paint.
  6. Re-attach The Doors: Once the paint is completely dried the customers then need to re-attach the doors, drawers, and shelves to the cabinets by using the saved hinges, knobs and screws.
