Steps
Follow these steps in order to paint over Clear Acrylic Lacquer Furniture:
- First, the customers need to mix an equal amount of lacquer thinner & denatured alcohol in a bucket or similar object.
- Apply this mixture on the furniture and leave it for one minute and then use steel wool to remove this mixture.
- Then sand the furniture with fine-gauge sandpaper.
- Then they can apply stain coat on it with a paintbrush and remove any extra coating with a rag.
- At last, apply polyurethane clear top coat and let it dry for 12 hours and then apply a second coat and similarly let it dry for 12 hours after which they can use the furniture.
