It is always good to give an updated makeover to the bathroom and its accessories like vanities. Bathroom vanities can be painted using a number of different methods in order to make it good and attractive. Painting the bathroom vanity cabinets is an easy task just need to follow the certain steps that are mentioned below:
  1. Remove Doors: The first thing is to remove the cabinet doors and hardware in order to get the painting job done as per the desire.
  2. Clean: Once the doors and hardware are removed clean them properly using cleaner such as degreasing cleaner. Once cleaned wipe all the parts using fresh water and allow them to dry completely.
  3. Sand: Sanding of the bathroom vanity along with the doors must be done smoothly with the help of the 80 grit sandpaper. Alternatively, sanding can be done using 120 or 150 grit sandpaper as well.
  4. Wipe: Wipe the sanding dust completely using a wet cloth and allow it to dry again.
  5. Painters Tap: Apply painters tape on the areas that do not need painting such as floors, walls, etc.
  6. Fill The Holes: Apply the light spackle into the holes to fill them up.
  7. Priming: Apply the primer over the vanity cabinet using paintbrush or roller and let it dry.
  8. Paint: Apply the desired paint over cabinets and let it dry for 24 hours and follow up by applying the second coat.
  9. Attach Doors And Hardware: Once the paint is dried completely attach all the doors and hardware parts again with the vanity cabinet and it’s done.
