Easy Ways To Open Traditional & Modern Sofa Bed
The users can easily open the sofa bed if they can figure out its basic step. If in case the sofa bed of users is old and its odds are high then they will recognize it as the traditional sofa bed and then they need to detach the cushions and to lift up the handle at the base front so as to pull out the sofa bed. Way I- Opening Up The Traditional Sofa Bed
- Remove The Cushions: Start by detaching the cushions from the base and at the back of the sofa. In order to start, they need to lift up the cushions at the sofa back and then set them aside and then pull out each box cushions from its given slot and then place them down. As most of the sofas use the velcro so as to affix the cushions with the sofa frame and at some times these affixed cushions get detached easily.
- Lift Up The Bar: Then they need to lift up the bar at the seat front so as to pull out the mattress. When the box cushions are detached then they need to check the seat front side near the place of the box cushions and then find out the bar or the metal handle and then grab it gently with the hands so as to make it lift upwards and the frame of the sofa bed will slide out properly.
- Unfold The Base: Then they need to lay the base downwards and then unfold the bed base and stretch the base of the bed as far as they can and once the users will find out that they no longer move the base of the bed then they need to lay it downwards. Then grab the mattress top that has been folded already and then lift it away so as to unwrap the area of the mattress.
- Set Up The Sofa Bed: If necessary the users can also pull up the central area of the bed and then stop at setting up their bed. In order to check whether the sofa bed sets up in one place or not they need to lift the bar towards upside direction.
Way II- Opening The Modern Sofa Bed
- Locate The Lever: The users need to start by locating the lever of the bed that might be placed at the front sided base of the sofa bed. These types of sofa beds can get even folded at their central most part and where the users can use any cushion instead of the mattress. If users were unable to locate the lever at the front side then they can find it at the sofa back
- Lift Up The Handle: Once the users successfully locate the sofa lever then they need to pull this lever in the direction of the inward until they won't hear any clicking sound and the moment they hear the clicking sound they need to hold the handle in the downwards direction until they lift up the bed in the upside way.
- Rotate The Bed: They need to keep on rotating the sofa bed in the backside way till they find that the sofa bed won't move further and during this process, they will also check out that the sofa bed will lay in the parallel direction to the floor and when they will hear that clicking sound they need to release the handle immediately so as to place the bed in a flat position.
- Reveal The Frame: Once the backside of the bed is locked in one place then the users need to bring the cushion box to its exact place and the bed will get locked down mechanically and they can easily bring down the bed to any surface accordingly.
