- Regulate the basic outside measurement of the couch. You need to measure from your floor to the highest point on the back and then record the taken measurement as maximum height. Measure the width of your couch by simply measuring from the left edge (outside) to the right edge(outside) and then record this measurement. Also, record the depth as the measurement from back to front.
- Now measure around the perimeter of your couch piece at its widest point and record this measurement as the girth. It helps to draw on the outline of your couch or you can also use a photo of a similar couch and record all the measurement precisely onto the picture or drawing.
