How To Match Hardwood Floor Stain: Steps

General Overview

When sanding or replacement is performed on the floorboard the color of the surrounded board needs to be matched with the sanded floorboard. The replacement boards should match the existing floorboard. If the customer is having a white oak floor and repaired board is replaced by mahogany floorboard, the boards do not match with each other. So it is important to match the color and finish of the floorboards. The material required to match the hardwood floor stain includes rag, rubbing alcohol, clock, matching floorboard, bowl, and stains of the approximate color.
