2 Methods To Make & Use Beeswax Furniture Polish

¼ Cup Beeswax

The customer can get it easily on any online store where they can have it clear or yellow in color but it is better to use yellowish color as it will give excellent look and shine to the wood and it is particularly best if the customer is using it on an unfinished wood. In order to perform this procedure, the customer just need to put 1/4 water in any bowl to get view about how much amount i need once it gets melted completely. The extra amount of water as well as wax can be poured out if needed in order to achieve the result.

¾ Cup Mineral Oil

Another method to make beeswax is to use ¾ Cup Mineral Oil. It is highly recommended to use food grade mineral oil in order to be able to use polish on different variety of surfaces. The customer can also apply olive oil for polish but mineral oil is less weighted so it is beneficial to use mineral oil compared to olive oil.

To make the beeswax furniture polish, simply melt beeswax in a double boiler with water, then add the mineral oil and gently stir. After it gets melted completely, pour the hot liquid into a container, it is recommended to use a ½ pint wide mouth jar in order to make it easy to access the polish. Then, leave the polish in a place that is very cold for approximately 2-3 hours.
