How To Make The Round Wooden Table Top?
Constructing a basic table is a very easy task and does not need more experience. All the basic table requires a piece of wood, legs and table skirt for attachment. The steps to make the round table are mentioned below:
- Board: Round table top requires the 4 pieces of the wooden board.
- Glue: Apply glue over the longboard sides and attach them using bar clamps.
- Wipe And Dry: Wipe the excess glue and allow the board to dry completely. Avoid uneven board pop up.
- Remove Clamps: Once the glue completely dries remove clamps and use a putty knife to scrub the extra dried glue.
- Cut Table Top: Cut the table top using bandsaw in round shape.
- Sanding: Use a belt sander to sand the table top surface and make it even.
- Wood Putty: The wood putty can be applied to fill the cracks on the surface if any. Once the cracks are filled let it dry and do a little bit of sanding again.
- Stain: Stain the table top with the desired color as per the instructions labeled on the product. At least two coats are required to get the even finish.
- Rubbing: Do a little bit of rubbing using steel wool and follow it by applying varnish.
