  4. Assemble the arm: Now starting from the bottom install the side with the best quality glue. Next step is to attach shell after that front of the arm. Allow the pieces to dry completely by clamping them together.
  5. Attaching The Arms To The Back: Simply use the dowels and glue to attach the first arm to back, and then attach the second arm as well.
  6. Frame: Now the next step is to build the frame for the seat, for that use the two pieces of the scrap wood to build a quick template. Apply the wood and then attach the pieces of the wood in the right place that will create a frame.
  7. Sanding: Sand all the areas with the fine or medium grit sandpaper, this depends on the wood, if the wood is rough with knots, sap, and unevenness, that time start sanding with the 80-grit sandpaper, then 120-, then switch to 220- and at last 400-grit.
  8. Wood Filler: Look for the holes or repairs and then use the wood filler with the help of a putty knife, let it dry and then sand again.
  9. Apply The Finish: Now apply the finish as per choice like danish oil.
  10. Slats And Front: Once the finish is dried then attach the Slats And Front. As this sofa has a slide out feature so its very important to secure each slat after that attach the front lumbar or piece of wood to the front panel.
