Four Easy Ways To Lower Blinds
It is never an easy task to lower blinds instead it is very tricky if the users are not having any knowledge with particular blinds that they wish to close. Most of the window blinds are having the cords, some have the rod while as most of the blinds neither have cord nor have rod at all. Once the users determine what type of blind they want to bind and the appropriate techniques then it will not be so much difficult for them to lower their blinds. The users can easily lower their blinds at home by following the below-mentioned ways:
Way 1: Single-String Blinds
- Pull The Cord: Start by pulling up the blind cord towards its left side so as to open up the blinds. The users need to hold up the cord smoothly and then carry it all around the window face at the forty-five degrees angle. They need to lift up the cord gently so as to open up the blinds.
- Liberate The Cord: Then they need to liberate the cord gently so as to lower up the blinds. Once the users open up the blinds, they need to keep on holding the cord towards its left side. Then they need to unfasten their grip so as to allow it to rise up gently.
- Lower The Cord: Then they need to lower the cord strings at the exact time in order to let the blinds in the even position. If in case the blinds become curved when the users lower them and then lift it downwards so as to make them flat again. If in case both sides of the blinds are uneven then they need to pull the other blind string.
- Close Up The Blinds: Then the users need to close up the blinds in one place by lifting up the cord towards their right. Once the users will find out that their blind reaches to the point where they want them, then hold up the cord gently so as to prevent the blinds from going upwards. Then they need to hold up the cord to the window right to close up the blinds in one place and then they need to release the cord gently so as to be assured that the window blinds are closed up perfectly.
Way 2: Continuous-Cord Blinds
- Lift The One Side: Start by checking to see whether the window blinds run by the unending cord loop. The users need to find out the cord of the blind that appears to be a loop and if in case it is the unending cord system then they need to either rise up or lower down the blinds when the users will lift the one cord loop side.
- Lower The Blinds: Then they need to lift the one cord side so as to lower the blinds. If by lifting this side allows the blind to lift then the users need to lift the other cord side. The users are advised to stop pulling up the blinds when it will reach their required level.
- Turn The Rod: Then they need to turn the blind rod to the different window side so as to align the slats. If in case the blinds are having the adaptable slats then the users can bind and unbind them by spinning the blind rod that is hanging downwards from the window top. The users need to simply spin the rod either to the left or to the right so as to drift them.
Way 3: Blinds With Rods
- Drift The Rod: Start by drifting the rod so as to move the blinds from one side to another. Most of the panel and the vertical blinds are regulated with the track system and the rod as well rather than the cord. In order to regulate this type of blinds, the users need to lift up the rod in any direction that they want their blinds to drift. The rod is simply placed at the blind end.
- Spin The Rod: Then they need to spin the blind rod so as to turn down the blinds. Most of the vertical blinds get rotated with the rod and then they need to spin the rod either to the left or to the right. If the blinds didn't get started to close then the users need to spin the rod that too in the different direction this time.
- Check The Track System: If the blinds are not moving then the users are advised to examine the track system of the blinds. This kind of system is situated at the window or the door top and then detach the blockage if the users find any.
Way 4: Cordless Blinds
- Take Down The Base Bar: Start by taking down the base bar so as to lower down the cordless blinds. The users need to hold the central area of the base bar and then lift it downwards. Once the users find out that the blinds reached the position where they want them to be, then liberate the blinds, and then they will remain in one place.
- Bend The Bar: Then the users need to bend the base bar downwards in order to turn the slats over the cordless window blinds. If in case the blinds are not having any rod then they need to line up the slat angle with the base bar.
- Remote Control System: Most of the cordless blinds can be automatically closed with the remote control system.
