2.Measure Space: Space must be measured from the last plank row to the kitchen cabinets in terms of the plank width.
3.Each End: Three inches need to measure from each end and keep 1/4 to 1/2 inch additional. It also depends on the spacers that come with the flooring.
4.Marks: Mark each flooring end with the straight edge down in between the planks and cut the planks according to the exact measurement using a circular saw to cut the excess laminate.
5.Lay: The flooring piece needs to be laid down similarly as the other pieces of the planks are laid.
6.Cover Gaps: All the gaps need to be covered from the laminate sides and under the kitchen cabinets. Keep the measurement similar to other planks if the floor seems long then use the circular saw to trim the floors to make a perfect fit.

Steps To Install The Pergo Laminate Flooring

Pergo is the type of laminate that comes with great durability. Here are the steps to install Pergo laminate in an easy way:
1.Wood Floor Preparing: Clean the floor and make it free from the debris and dust.
2.Leveling: Checking the floor level is very much important to ensure that it is exactly as per the carpenter's level. If the Pergo is installed over the unlevelled floor it will result in the cracks finally.
3.Vapor Barrier: The installation of the vapor barrier is mandatory to keep the floor safe from getting damaged by the water or moisture.
4.Laying Pergo: Start laying Pergo from the corner of the room.
5.Row: Insert the new groove piece at 30 degrees to make the planks fit together firmly. If it does not fit use hammer or crowbar to place them in the proper position.
5.Next Row: The second row needs to be placed accordingly and continue doing so until the entire room is completed.
6.Baseboard: After the Pergo is installed follow up by the baseboard installation as per the desire.
