The engineered hardwood floor is very easy to install and is also resistant to moisture which makes it a great alternative to traditional hardwood flooring.   1. Clean And Prep Floor: First of all clean and prepare the floor, the subfloor should be free from all the dust and debris material. Vacuum and wash the floor to remove all the debris material, once the cleaning is completed then dry the floor before installing the Engineered Hardwood Click Flooring.
  2. Tar Paper: Roll out the tar paper lay over the cleaned surface, use a staple gun to fix the paper to the floor. This will act as a moisture barrier.
  3. Planks: Now prepare the planks for the installation.
  4. Install: Start the installation in the row-wise starting from longest wall of the area, the planks have the tongue and groove style, so they need to be slide together rightly.
  5. Finish: In order to hide the seam line where the floor meets the walls, simply attach a baseboard to the bottom of the wall, the baseboard should be painted before installing.
