Easy Way Of Installation Of The Cordless Faux Wood Blinds
Installing the new faux wood blinds is very easy, the users can do it by themselves with the simple and painless process. Step 1: Tools
Faux Wood blinds are very easy to install. A screwdriver is a tool that is needed to install the blinds, or for quick and easier installation, use a cordless screwdriver, or a drill having a 1/4-inch Hex head drill bit.
Step 2: Unpack The Blinds
Before starting the installation job, carefully unpack the blinds and all the mounting hardware. This will help to familiarize with the contents of the box.
Step 3: Mounting Brackets
Begin the installation job by placing the mounting brackets at the top of the window but away from the glass. For easy installation, it is advisable to place the brackets all the way to the front of the window opening.
Step 4: Create Starter Holes
To make the job of fastening the screws easier, simply create starter holes by tapping a screw with a hammer in any of the two side bracket holes. Fasten 2 screws to attach the first bracket. First, install the right side bracket and any of the additional support brackets if included.
Step 5: Valance Clips
The next step is to snap the included valance clips on the front lip of the headrail before mounting the blind. Space the valance clips evenly, it is advisable to avoid contact with any of the mechanisms inside the top of the blind.
Step 6: Slide The Head Rail In The Brackets
Completely close the covers on the brackets simply by pressing up on the bottom of the bracket with the help of thumbs, while lowering down the front part of the bracket until the cover snaps into the exact place.
Step 7: Pre-installed Clips
In order to complete the installation job, snap the valance into the pre-installed clips, from the top first, and then the bottom.
Step 8: Test The Blinds
Finish the job by lowering and checking the new blinds. By following all the steps, you have completed installing cordless faux wood blinds.
