Each side integrates with the reversed side to decently position your shelf. The method concern placing metal clips in selected brackets that match reciprocal brackets on the reversed side. If you want to install cabinet shelf clips then you need to collect the given 2 items and follow the steps. Here is the list of items and steps to follow:

Things You Will Need

  • Adjustable Shelves
  • Shelf Clips

Steps For This Process

  1. First of all, you need to get rid of the shelves from your cabinet if they are already in place. Lift your shelf and then tilt it at a 30-degree angle & then slip it out of your cabinet opening. If there are multiple shelves then you need to remove all of them in the same manner, start your work from the top.
  2. Next you need to pinch the shelf clips, one at a time, that are extending from the side of the cabinet metal runners. Grasp your shelf clip betwixt your thumb & index finger and tilt it up as you pinch it hard. It will move freely & quickly from the bracket slot. Remove 4 clips for each shelf.
  3. Lean into your cabinet so you can see. If indispensable then you need to use a flashlight to better see the bracket slot numbering. You will see a progression of 10 slots uncoordinated by 2 small holes, 10 more slots & 2 holes. The pattern repeats the full length of the runner. Your each bracket slot is numbered 1 through 10.
  4. Next you need to place your shelf clip at the desired height where you want to install your shelf. Pinch your clip as you did earlier. There is a small extension at the top of your shelf clip that has a 90-degree bend in it. Insert your clips into one of the bracket slots. Now tilt your clip down. The bottom of your shelf clip will easily lock into your different bracket slot and will become solid.
  5. After that, you need to check the number above your shelf clip. Grab your another shelf clip. Count up from your nearest set of double holes on the tape progression to your corresponding number on any other runner. Check the number to be sure that it's the right one and then place your shelf clip in your bracket slot that's in the same position rectangular as the past shelf clip. Repeat the step on your remaining bracket slots.
  6. Finally you need to tilt the shelf at 30 degrees and then insert it into your cabinet opening on top of the shelf clips. Repeat the step in the same manner for all the remaining shelves.

Tip & Warning

  1. Tip: You can only replace your 1 shelf at a time if you like, but it's accessible to start from the top if you are moving all of them. Consistently, depends on how close your shelves are to one another, you have to lift your 2 shelves simultaneously to get them to fit properly. Then drop your shelves both in actual place at the same time.
  2. Warning: If the shelf shatter or seems unbalanced, you presumably counted wrong & placed one of the clips in your wrong bracket slot.
