What Are The Steps to Install Bamboo Flooring on Stairs?
Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily install the Bamboo Flooring On their Stairs:
- Prepare The Stairs: The customers need to start by removing the carpets or any other material from the stairs. The customers also need to detach all the nails and screws from the stairs.
- Clean The Stairs: The customers then have to clean all the dust and the debris particles from the stairs by using a soft damp cloth. Once the stairs are completely dried they have to fix all the squeaky areas on the stairs by using the wood screws.
- Remove The Nosing: The customers then have to detach the nosing from the stair before they can fix the bamboo flooring. They then have to estimate how long does the nosing go out and to estimate this they need to use the measuring tape. The customers then need to mark the calculate size dimensions on to the topmost area of the stairs and then they need to trim the nosing by using the round saw accordingly.
- Install The Bamboo: Once the customers have completely prepared their stairs they need to start laying the bamboo floorings. The customers then have to grab one plank of the bamboo flooring and they have to shift that bamboo plank to diagonally upside. They then need to affix the bamboo plank in one place by using the wood nails.
- Cutting To Fit: The customers then need to calculate the exact size dimensions of the stairs and then trim the bamboo planks accordingly by using the table saw.
- Fixing The Stair nose: Once the customers installed the bamboo floorings on all the stairs than at last they need to fix a stair nose on each edge of the stair by using the wood glue or the nails. The Stair nose will cover all the edges of the stairs from getting damaged.
