Steps
- Assemble 3-light Vanity Light Fixture: First of all, gather together the Hampton Bay 3-light vanity light fixture. Unfasten the socket rings from the three sockets using your fingers and place or fix the light shades onto the sockets. Replace the socket rings in order to take hold of the shades onto the fixture and fix the light bulbs into the sockets.
- Turn Off The Breaker: Switch off the breaker providing the electricity where you are going to install the vanity light. Position the Hampton Bay vanity light mounting bracket onto the wall on top of the electrical box in the wall. Mark the 4 keyhole openings in each corner of the mounting bracket onto the wall.
- Drill 5 Mm Holes In The Wall: Drill 5 mm holes in the wall where you have marked 4 keyhole openings. Place the 4 plastic anchors that comes with the Hampton Bay 3-light vanity into the holes you drilled in the wall.
- Insert The 4 Mounting Screws Into The Anchors: Place the 4 mounting screws into the anchors and warp them by hand, gently, delicately or softly installing them into the anchors. Slip the mounting bracket onto the screws along the keyhole slots. Secure & strengthen the screws into the anchors, attaching the mounting bracket to the wall.
- Wrap The Bare Copper Ground Wire: Cover & enclose the bare copper ground wire from the 3-light vanity on every side of the green ground screw secured to the mounting bracket. Cover the bare copper wires from the electrical box in the wall on every side of the ground screw on the vanity mounting bracket. Secure & strengthen the green ground screw in order to take hold of both ground wires to the bracket.
- Connect The White Wire From 3 Light Vanity To White Wire From Electrical Box: Attach or fix the white wire from the Hampton Bay three-light vanity to the white wire from the electrical box by warping a wire connector onto the two wires. Secure the black wire from the three-light vanity to the black wire from the electrical box in the wall with an extra wire connector. Attach or fix the wire connectors to both sets of wires by enclosing the connectors and wires using electrical tape.
- Turn On The Vanity Light Circuit Breaker:Move the vanity fixture smoothly onto the two mounting screws secured to the mounting bracket. Warp the decorative lock nuts onto the two mounting screws sticking out along the fixture as long as tight, securing the three-light vanity to the wall. Switch the vanity light circuit breaker back on, providing electricity to the Hampton Bay three-light vanity.
