Materials Required

  • Drill/Driver, 1/2-Inch Drill Bit, Router
  • Stapler, Clamps, Jigsaw, Sandpaper
  • Staples, Masking Tape, Cutter Bit With Bearing
  • Stain Marker

Procedure

  • Remove The Door: Start by detaching the door of the cabinet within the frame of the cabinet by using the drill/driver. Then the users need to place the door towards it facing upwards all across the 2 sawhorses. Then they need to place the clamp on each door end and then fasten it by using the sawhorses. Then place the copper wire mesh in the central position on the door face. The wire needs to be near about two inches smaller in size on all the door sides.
  • Draw The Line: The users then need to draw the pencil line all around the screen perimeter. Then place the tape all around the inner door tracing so as to form the perimeter that will be half-inch smaller on the door sides than tracing. Then drill down the holes within the door by using the half-inch sized drill bit at the beach inner corner of the perimeter of tape.
  • Trim The Holes: After that, the users need to insert the jigsaw blade tip within one hole. Then trim on the line of the tape near to another hole. Then keep on trimming from one hole to another hole and then place the hand beneath the center so as to brace and then detach it within the door when the users trim it lose.
  • Detach The Clamps: Then detach the clamps and then rotate the door and then eventually clamp it down. Then the users need to install the three by eight by half-inch sized cutter bit into the router and then position the router within the frame of the door. Then turn the router on and then lift the router towards the perimeter so as to cut three by eight by half-inch wide lip or the rabbet on the inner door perimeter.
  • Sand The Edges: Next the users need to sand down the routing edges and the opening of the door by using the fine-grit sandpaper until it becomes smooth. Then color the corner so as to match it up with the old stain by using the stain marker.
  • Position The Copper Wire: Finally the users need to position the copper wire within the lip or the rabbet and then stape down the wire with the lip by using the staples. The users need to place the 4 staples evenly on each of the door sides. They need to angle down the staples to the fifteen degrees so as to penetrate within the lip corner respectively.
