Things You Will Need

  1. Spray Bottle
  2. Rubbing Alcohol
  3. Blow Dryer
  4. Oxygen Bleach
  5. Unscented, Dye-Free Liquid Laundry Detergent

Steps For This Process

  • First of all, you need to remove the cover of your microfiber cushions, if it is possible, if not then leave it as it is. Most cushions cover comes with zippers which will allow you to remove the foam pad from it's inside.
  • Next you need to fill your small spray bottle with alcohol (undiluted rubbing) and you need to set the bottle nozzle to the finest mist.
  • Now you have to spray the ink stain affected area with the help of your alcohol and blot the stain by using your dry white rag. Press your rag straightforward up and down but you don't have to rub the stain because this can smear the ink stain.
  • Next you need to spray and blot for 2-3 times as necessary to remove the ink stain. If the ink stain is gone from your microfiber cushions after your alcohol treatment then you don't have to apply the oxygen bleach and wash your cushions. Just dry the ink stain spot with the help of a blow dryer on low heat mode.
  • Next, simply mix a scoop of the bleach (powdered oxygen) with enough water(warm) to make a marginally runny paste. Stir until the powdered oxygen bleach is perfectly dissolved.
  • After that, it's time to apply a spoonful of your bleach paste to the ink spot and leave it for at least 10 minutes. Keep an eye on your fabric to be sure that the bleach paste doesn't dry.
  • Next, wash your cover in cool water in your washing machine and also add another scoop of your oxygen bleach to your wash load if desired. Use dye-free and unscented laundry detergent.
  • Simply dry your cushion in the dryer on low heat mode in order to remove any watermarks.
  • Finally replace the covers on your cushions. Brush your cushion sparsely with a nylon-bristled scrub brush to restore the grain and also remove any leftover watermarks.
