- Move: Now slowly move the heat gun over the area, continue to pass the heat gun side by side, without holding the heat gun at one place.
- Scrape: Once the paint starts to bubble or wrinkle then scrape the finish with the help of the paint scraper or putty knife while scraping the finish the user can also use the heat gun in hand to heat the finish.
- Fire: In some cases, wood might catch the fire, but this fire is usually small, so it is important to keep the water bucket at the place of work.
Chemical Paint Strippers:
- Choose: To remove the finish with the help of the stripper, it is important to choose the right type of the chemical stripper, look for the stripper that is suitable to remove the finish.
- Pour: Now pour the small amount of the stripper in the bowl, then start applying with the help of the brush, it is better to apply the thick and even coat of the stripper and brush the stripper in one direction, then leave the stripper on the surface for about 20 to 30 minutes depending on the type of the stripper.
- Test: After 30 minutes test if the paint starts to wrinkle or simply rub with the help of the scraper blade. Simply glide the scraper under the paint and start peeling it works in one direction.
