Steps To Remove Fingernail Polish From Hardwood Floor

The nail varnish or nail enamel is another name of the nail polish. The main uses of nail polish are to polish the human fingernail or toenails. Directly using the nail polish on the hardwood floor is not a good idea because if the nail polish fell on the hardwood floor then it's hard to remove the stain of nail polish. However, the user can get rid of the fingernail polish stain from hardwood floor by following the below-given steps:
  1. White Sugar: If the nail polish stain on a hardwood floor is fresh then pour some white sugar on the affected area and wait for the sugar to absorb the nail polish.
  2. Acetone: Acetone is a nail polish remover that can be applied on the hardwood floor by using a cotton swab and take some acetone remover on the cotton swab and rub the nail polish stain for nearly 1-2 minutes.
  3. Rubbing Alcohol: After that the user can take a cotton ball and add some alcohol in it and leave the alcohol for 5-6 minutes then rub gently on the affected area.
  4. Mineral Spirits: Mix some mineral spirit and water in a spray bottle and spray the liquid directly on the nail polish stain and leave the liquid for 1-2 minutes. Now wipe the area with the help of dry rag or clean cloth.
  5. Iron: Take the cloth iron and lay a towel on the surface of hardwood floor and start ironing the cloth. Remove the iron and cloth then start scraping the stain with a plastic stripper.
