  1. Sand: Sand the bare wood surface with the 120 grit sandpaper, the sanding will give a good base upon which the primer will adhere.
  2. Primer: Apply the best quality oil-based primer on the surface, once the primer is dried than go for the sanding again with the 220-grit paper or fine sanding sponges to sand.
  3. Buy The Paint: Enamel paints is the best option for wood works and cabinets as it dries quickly.
  4. Spray The Paint: Now spray the first coat of the paint, spray in the even strokes, once the first dries completely then go for the second coat. However, before going for the second, use fine grit sandpaper and sand the entire surface by hand.
  5. Protective Finish: After the paint is done then give slight sanding with an ultra-fine sanding sponge to the surface and apply the protective finish of polycrylic, polyurethane, or sealing wax.
  6. Vacuum: Once the first coat of the finish dries than Sand, vacuum, and a tack cloth to remove the dust. Apply a second coat of protective finish.
