Steps to Fix Uneven Stain on Wood Floors

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily fix the uneven stain on the wood floor:
  1. Use The Mineral Spirits: The customers need to start by using the mineral spirits and applying it directly to the dark areas. Customers can also use the acetone in order to remove the stain from the wood floors. If the stain does not get lifted by applying these chemicals then they need to use the sandpaper and rub it gently over the stained area.
  2. Paint The Stained Area: The customers then need to paint the stained area and then let the wood floor dry completely for near about 2 days.
  3. Examine The Stain: The customers then need to re-check the re-stained portion of the wood floor and if they find out that it is enough dark to directly blend with the floor then the customers can simply seal the floor but if they find that it does not match with the floor then they need to apply one more layer of the paint and then let the paint to dry completely. The customers have to repeat the same procedure until the stain gets completely matched with the wood floor.
  4. Use The Wood Conditioner: The customers at last need to apply the wood conditioner to over the entire surface of the wooden floor in order to get a glossy finish accordingly.
