All dresser drawers open and shut with the help of slides and system of rollers. Usually, known as tracks, when the roller sides back and is on tracks it ables the drawer to open and shut easily.   1. In order to access the tracks, you need to get rid of the drawer from the slot in the dresser before pulling it out. If it is jammed then lift the drawer slightly upwards and then pull it towards yourself. You need to carefully jiggle it slightly from its sides in order to save the tracks from breaking. If one side has fallen out then make sure that the other side should not fall.
  2. You need to check the mounting for the tracks. They should be secure and push it in that way so that it goes back to the dresser. Tighten the loose screws with the help of drill.
  3. You need to check the damages like bent area as it can cause the rollers to side out the track. If there is a bent you need plier to correct the affected area otherwise rollers won't pop out.
  4. You have to ensure that the track installed in the drawers are functioning properly. Some tracks have arrows pointing upward in order to show you the proper installation form. If you installed it incorrectly then loose the screws and remove the track, then reinstall it properly.
  5. Some times screws are not mounted like the way it should have been done. You have to check the stripped out screw holes. Remove the screws, track should be in its own position then resink the screws into the new holes. You should repeat it for both the sides of the drawers.
  6. Some times super glue will help you to fix and hold the stripped screws on their place rather than removing the tracks. You need to take the broken or bent beyond repair tracks to improvement store and have to purchase matching tracks for reinstallation.
