Step By Step Guide To Fix Blinds That Are Stuck
The blinds are very flexible and that is why the users can easily turn them or can easily pull them. Open Slats
- Detach The Frame: Start by detaching the frame from the blind top and that is held by the clips of the plastic and then it should get free easily. Then the users need to pull up each one of the corners so as to liberate the frame.
- Lift Up The Blind Top: Then the users need to lift up the blind top within its brackets and then lay it over the table surface. The users are advised to be very careful so as to avoid getting the slats tangled while they are detaching the blinds.
- Lift Up The Cap: Then they need to lift up the cap from the blindside and this is the specific rod that is used to bind and unbind the blind slats.
- Examine The Inner Surface: Then they need to examine the inner surface so as to find out the tilting mechanism of the blind. Usually, this is a rod made up of the metal that runs as per the blind length, and then the users need to lift up the rod within the blind outside till the users won't observe that it connects up with the inner mechanism of the rod.
- Replace The Frame: Then the users need to lift up the back end cap in the place and then hang down the blinds within its brackets. Then they need to replace down the frame by simply pushing it back till it gets popped back to its original place.
Stuck At Top
- Detach The Frame: Start by detaching the frame and then detach the blinds within its brackets. Once they detached the blinds, the users need to lay it over the surface of the table.
- Lift Up The Cap: Then they need to lift up the cap end to the specific ring that hikes and bring down the blinds. Then they need to examine the inner surface so as to locate the gears that clasp up the cords and also hold up the blinds as per the desired position of the users.
- Apply The Oil: Then the users need to apply few drops of the oil to the gear or then use the spray lubricant as well. Then bind and unbind the gear by simply lifting it slowly by using the screwdriver. By pushing up the gear the users can easily move the oil within the entire gear surface.
- Hold Up The Blinds: Then they need to hold up the blinds and then lift up the cords so as to make sure that the gear works perfectly. If in case the users find out that the gear is still not working properly then they need to add more oil to it and then repeat the step.
- Release The Cords: Finally the users need to place back the blinds within its brackets and then push down the frame back to its place. Then lift up the cords against the inner blindside so as to liberate the gears and then let the blind to get down to bind them accordingly. Then they need to liberate the cords gently.
