Method 1: Mansfield Toilet Lever Replacement
Toilet handles arm on a Mansfield toilet doesn't in reality raise a traditional flapper. Rather than a traditional tank filled with water, it always has a sealed pressure tank which is containing a convinced amount of air that gets abbreviate when it fills with water. This type of toilet consistently has a push-button on the top of your tank. When you press it, you will see a valve which opens & lets the water out. Because the water is under pressure, it pushes the contents of the bowl into your waste line. Method 3: Troubleshooting Poor Pressure-Assisted Flushing
When your pressure-assisted toilet doesn't flush well, the matter could be the poor water pressure at your water supply.
- The first step in troubleshooting is to disengage your water supply and then check it. There should be enough pressure to fill your gallon water bucket in under a minute. While you have your water supply disconnected, check the screen on your inlet hose for debris that could be obstructing the water flow.
- Next, you will want to check the air intake on your pressure tank, which is a small aperture on top of a vertical pipe attached to your tank. Now you need to put a spoonful of water on your hole & then flush it. The water should get absorbed into the aperture. If not then you need to unscrew the cap and then clean the screen inside. If it is also damaged then simply replace it.
- After you do this, just be sure that the armature connected to your flush button literally pushes down the rod on your flush cartridge. Adjust it if unavoidable.
- If you are still having any problems then you need to unhook the actuator and then remove the flush cartridge by simply pulling it out. Replace the O-rings and also check for the leaks. Replace the cartridge if it is cracked or otherwise fully damaged.
