Procedure
- Drift The Plastic Skirt: Firstly drift skirt, that is made up of the plastic, out from the cylinder. Most of the chairs are having the plastic tube above the stretchable cylinder. Then drift this downwards or to the upwards till the user won't detect the metal cylinder below it.
- Set The Height Of The Chair: Then the users need to set up their office chair as per their favored height as they won't be able to readjust the chair height after the repair and that is why the users need to get assured that they have the right chair height. The chair seat needs to be in level with their knees when the users are standing respectively. If in case the users find out that the chair does not stay upwards even when they are not sitting over it then they need to lay the chair towards its side. If the skirt wraps up the cylinder then the users need to detach the skirt by turning the chair towards its upside-down direction and then lift up the holding clip that is located at the bottom by using the screwdriver and detach the wheels and the skirt.
- Wrap Up The Hose Clamp: After that, wrap up the hose clamp all around the cylinder area. The users need to purchase the 2cm hose clamp at their nearby hardware store. Then unfasten the screws at the clamp and then lift out the belt edge. Then wrap up the hose clamp all around the cylinder but the users are advised not to fasten the screws yet.
- Enhance The Clamp Grip: Then the users need to enhance the clamp grip and the clamp needs to be compact so as to grasp the chair upwards. The users are advised to allow the hose to clamp the good surface to grasp by covering the rubber strip or the duct tape all around the cylinder area. They are also advised to follow this step at the topmost seeable point at the cylinder. If the users found that the gas cylinder looks very greasy then they need to clean the cylinder first.
- Tighten Up The Hose Clamp: Fasten the hose clamp as far as the users can. Then drift the clamp over the cylinder top and then check the chair height. Lift up the clamp compacted and then tighten it by simply twisting the screws.
- Examine The Chair: The users finally need to check their chair as it won't be possible for the chair to slide downwards.
