- Remove Hardware: Begin with removing all the hardware from the door like the metal door catch/strike and bolt catch/strike.
- Scrape: Now scrape away any small chunks of wood which may be coming out from the door frame. Before going to the next step please make sure that the door can fully close. If not, then remove any wood that may be preventing the door from closing.
- Access: Full open the door, so that the door frame can be easily accessed.
