Steps To Fix/Repair A Broken Couch Back
Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily fix/repair a broken couch back:
- Turn The Couch Over: Firstly the customers need to place their couch to its back so that they can easily remove all the staples from the back side of the frame and can also remove the bottom cover of the couch.
- Remove The Legs From The back Area: Secondly, the customers have to remove the legs of the backside of the frame in order to repair the broken back of the couch without facing any difficulty.
- Pry Out The Staples: The customers then need to use the flat screwdriver that must be thin in order to remove all the staples from the bottom corner of the upholstery. The customers can also use the piler to remove the staples smoothly. The Customers then have to remove the back cover of the couch but they have to be very careful while removing that.
- Using The Wood Glue: The customers then need to Inject the wood glue to the broken back of the couch in order to strengthen the base of the back frame. They then need to let the wood glue to dry for a whole night.
- Staple The Fabric: Once the wood glue is dried completely then the customers need to staple the back side fabric of the couch by using a staple gun and the staples must be a 1/4-inch leg and 3/8-inch in length.
- Reinstall The Feet: Once the customer attach all the fabrics back to the cushion then after that The customers have to re-attach the feet of the couch.
