- First of all, make sure you loosen up the waterbed heater day before starting to drain the water from the waterbed mattress. Fasten the valve connector for the venturi pump into the bathroom valve spout and then fasten the top end of the venturi pump onto the valve connector. Fasten the female connection of the drain channel onto the male channel fastener at the side of the venturi pump.
- Now, drag the fill nozzle of the mattress up & get rid of the cap and inner seal. Rout out any air trapped in the mattress. Fasten the waterbed drain & fill connector to the drain channel by fastening it onto the male end of the channel. Install the other end of the connector into the mattress fill nozzle and push it down into the fill nozzle to make a compact seal.
